You’re different from my usual attraction. I’m from a small city where people drive lowered cars. You’re from the country where people drive monster trucks. You were raised all American. I was raised Mexican American. You have piercing round hazel eyes. I have regular oval brown eyes. You were popular in high school, you ran with the cool crowd, and went to all the high school parties. I wasn’t popular in high school, I didn’t fit in with the cool crowd, and what about high school parties? When I hear music my body is uncontrollable. When you hear music your body is hesitant. When I’m ‘feeling good’ I love everybody more. When you’re ‘feeling good’ you love dancing. You’re 18 and I’m 21. I don’t know why a 3 year age difference is holding me back. I’m trying to figure it out. I don’t know how to approach you. I just met you and I don’t want to overthink it. You’re that different from my usual attraction.

LUCKY PATCH

I don’t want to talk about the usual. I want to talk about something new. What I’m going through isn’t unusual. What I’m going through isn’t simple, yet isn’t different but like a pimple it irritates me when it shows. I have a lucky patch that can be confused as a bruise. Don’t be mistaken. It’s blue like the sky on a clear day, everybody loves a clear day. While my lucky patch is always in the shade. Since I’m not ready to show it during the day. When I’m comfortable, I hope soon. I’ll be able to show off my lucky patch on the moon with you. As for now, I chill in my room thinking of my next move. Since I can’t always do nothing. I have a mother who loves me. I promised her I would make it soon, so I have to stay on the move.
